Vehicle Instrumentation :

May & Scofield have developed a family of unique instrumentation modules which can be used as stand alone or in conjunction with our Body Control Unit.

These modules are LED backlit, sealed for life (never needing maintenance) and meet IP65.

They have been developed to meet demanding Military off-road requirements and all meet DEF STAN 59-41.1 Land Class 'A' levels of EMC suppression.

Modules include :

• CAN based Instrument Cluster (J1939) fitted to the newly commissioned UK MoD 'Foxhound' Light Protected Patrol Vehicle (LPPV). The unit operates in conjunction with the May & Scofield Vehicle Control Unit and incorporates a multi-layer/multi-Function LCD display developed to meet the customer's specific requirements.
• Instrument Panel with sealed for life Instrument Pack, a range of heavy duty rocker switches and a heavy duty lighting switch designed to accommodate the needs of vehicle body builders (Fire truck and Ambulance conversions).

May & Scofield have developed and supply Vehicle Instrumentation modules to BAe Systems ? Land Systems and General Dynamics Force Protection.
